Man I do not get the hate for QOTSA, they a rock band playing at a rock festival... They sell out arenas across the world, and they're a legendary band that has been inspirational and has had the time to gain that legenedary status with masterpieces such as Songs for the Deaf and ...Like Clockwork. They are brilliant live with exceptional sound quality and tight performances (even when Josh Homme is stoned asf XD). Absoloutley smashed that headline slot and I hope they come back! Was starting to get sick of the lineups being Iron Maiden and Slipknot every year.

I know I’m an old bastard, but at least I got to see the best bands at donington monsters of rock through the eighties, and nineties, I’ve done download a few times, but this year’s line up absolutely dog shit, charging these prices for a substandard show is shocking

Weather wasn't to bad, you think it was wet this year, go back to 2016! At least Sunday was dry!

Our last ever download.. we just had enough and buggered off on Sunday Lunchtime...Maiden were Headlining and as we had seen them numerous time we just didn't care...Only went back once for a day .. to see Rammstein... not been back since .. never will.. too expensive .. shite facilities. shite staff.. shite security... and of course .. shite lineups..

Festivals can beat it out of you even when they're dry. People thieving (or trying to) from your tent, stepping on/falling on to your tent whilst you sleep, extortionate pricing on everything, the smell of BBQs mixed with shite permeating the air... it can get on top of you after a few days 😂😂 source: been to download many a time (Would still go again!)

We did the same! We were tired AF and had enough of the mud, there were no band We wanted to see until 7pm, we left around 5 to beat the carnage in thr car park, also meant we got back at sensible time after 3 and a half hour drive!

Fair play to you for staying as long as you did. It looked bloody miserable! Thanks for your vlogs dude!

My First Download was 2004.. it was brilliant . warm weather. stage on the infield of the track.. great bands throughout . Just 1 stage and the tent.2 minute walk from camp site to arena... We then went to Download every year for about 10 years.. it steadily went down hill every year.. more expensive . shite facilities.. unhelpful staff. dickhead security.. Not been now for about 10 years.. Thankyou guys for affirming why i will never go there again...

Why would anyone go to see Busted especially when QOTSA are headlining the main stage. They are just a boy band. Is that a joke saying QOTSA are not a headline quality band. They are heavier than a lot bands that play Download
